As the system moves into its next year, the focus shifts to strengthening oversight processes, expanding the catalogue of available qualifications, and supporting Local Certification Bodies in their ongoing implementation activities. Central certificate registry with QR verification now live
The central GCCS certificate registry maintained by the System Owner is now operational. Every certificate issued under GCCS includes a unique QR code enabling instant verification of authenticity by employers, institutions, and any other interested party. GCCS system launched
The Global Competence Certification Standard system becomes operational. GCCS provides an international framework for the validation and certification of interdisciplinary qualifications based on learning outcomes and supervised assessment, supporting comparability across national qualification frameworks and alignment with ESF+ programme requirements.
